My Horse Has A Beard =/

But, she's a Clydesdale...
I can't decide whether or not to clip it. What would you do?

I think You sould clip it because if he was out in the pasture eating grass and he got it cought on a prickily plant that he would panic and rip his hairs out. Ouch!

Leave it. The chances of it getting on something is pretty slim. Honestly, if you want to use that logic, you might as well clip her feathers, and her tail and mane, in case that should get caught in something too. =]

if you were showing i'd say clip it. if not, i'd say do whatever you want! it won't hurt her to clip it or keep it long.

I have beard trimming OCD so I would say clip it! :D

charliBum 09-11-2009 07:34 PM

correction, if you were showing, you would leave it, it is correct for clyds to be hairly monkeys

I like it! it's cute!

Gidji 09-11-2009 09:47 PM

Leave it. It looks so adorable on her.

I say clip it. I think it looks better. We clip ours and they dont have long hair like that, just the whiskers. I personally think it just looks more appealing and I want my boys to be perfect (when possible lol)
