This is not where I want to be, but where I find myself.... and I can't seem to find what I want. A safe and sound, good minded, cow and rein mix, 6 or under...prefer lightly started but who knows at this point, 15 hands or under, apha or aqha, for non pro just want to play... color a plus but not a must. Price depends on horse... hopefully I know it when I see it.
Lines I like: smart chic olena, dual pep (some are high strung though avoid that) Posted via Mobile Device
Darn hit submit on accident... smart chic olena, reminic, shining spark, metallic cat, dual pep, highbrow cat, CD diamond, peptoboonsmal have a good mind, very smart remedy, there are several others...
My mom has good luck with her straight from Texas horses ummmm very good luck she is trying to convince me paint! Lol but not many good paint breeders a few and our local gal threw in the towel that my Mom's horses came from Posted via Mobile Device
There is a smart little lena, doc's hickory, doc's oak bay mare for sale on the mesa t ranch (www.mesatranch.com) that was ridden at one time. I would buy her, but I just bought a mr. san peppy/doc's hickory mare.
Checked out there page wowsers do they have the old school lines going on!!! I like it!! They did a great job with their lines Posted via Mobile Device
Nell, I have a colt(10 month old) from their younger Blue Valentine stud and my two eyed jack/bert/bartender bred mare...hopefully he will be athletic and cowy like his forefathers/mothers.
Ropin biker: I had a mare bred like that... roping mare way back. She was the most amazing mare mind wise I will have ever owned. My bloodline preferences changed a little with new discipline... but we lack those lines in MN. I know a friend that would buy your colt in a New York minute if he was closer. No go for me.
Nell, he isn't for sale...I am going to train him up as a team roping horse...didn't mean to imply I was selling him. I do have a doc bar bred horse that is too short for me to rope on. He should be great heel horse and break away horse-I am going to finish him up this spring, but just never grew very tall.
