A little advice needed, please
Missy is getting really irritable. Yesterday, we had a lot of movement in her flank area and in her lower belly(by teats) - Missy quickly shot her ears back and kicked her stomach and flickered her tail before letting out a huge sigh.
Today she is super miserable, keeps trying to bite, not wanting to be groomed, very sluggish on walks, turned her out and instead of usual galloping, we got a slow walk and a big sigh and graze.
I know we still don't know if she is in foal or not, but if she is, please tell me this is normal for a mare that's due to foal..
(Bred 20th April but was living with stallion 24/7 so could have been covered before)
Here's yesterdays pic:
I would get a vet out asap. Because if she is not pregnant then there could be other complications going on..
Because you don't know she's in foal I would call a vet incase it's colic.
