Zorse for sale in Tx

My friend in Tx (near Galviston) found two zorses for sale, and we each bought one a few months back. However, I have decided to sell mine.

Ziggy is about 3 or 4, gelding. My friend handles him, so he's not "wild" but he DOES need work from someone experienced! I don't know how much of a kicker (meaning how often), but he DID kick her. He tore off a chunk of his hoof so he needs time to heal before any major training (not counting some ground work) takes place.

If you think you could handle and train a zorse and are interested in Ziggy, contact me here or cheyautranch @ yahoo.com (minus the spaces). $700 firm.

As you can see, his body isn't heavily striped, but you can see them when you're up close, and she said even more so when he's wet.

I made a mistake on the price, but since I can't edit my post (I hate that!)... Ziggy is $1000, hubby wants me to be able to cover what I owe my friend for boarding/feeding/working with him ;)

good luck selling him, he should go fast even with needing a lot of work. I'd love to have him but I'm at my limit..darn it!

LOL I was re-reading what I wrote, and it looks like he tore off the chunk of hoof while kicking her... he did not ;)

Thats what I was wondering. He has large ears...

According to Spots And Stripes Ranch (who breed zebras and all types of crosses) and the sounds he makes, he's a zorse. The ears come from the zebra.

What breed of horse is he mixed with? How is the temperament? Also, how long have they been breeding with the Zebra? From what I understand it is very hard to breed out the "wildness" of a Zebra even if crossed with a horse.
