Are Quaker Oats and peanut butter okay?

I'm going to be making hire treats and the recipe calls for peanut butter, whole wheat flour, water, and oats. I only have Quick Oats and normal peanut butter in the pantry. Is this okay to make for treats? Thanks :-)!

And the flour is I unbleached white whole wheat flour.

Is hire treats a mistype for horse treats?

And just look at the ingredients on your quick oats pack and peanut butter jars. These will tell you whether there is anything in there that you don't want to feed to the horses.

I think the no no would be added sugars.

They sound fine to me. My horses love oatmeal and peanut butter people cookies.

Yes horse* treats! I didn't even notice that .

Yes, fine. Generally. As with almost anything, inc sugar, in small occasional treats, in moderation, not really a worry, unless the horse is especially sensitive, IR or such.

Mine get alfalfa cubes for treats. I break them up into wafers. They love them. They must taste different from the timothy hay.

For treats, sounds fabulous! My horse would be jealous if he could read.

I've discovered a healthy & extremely attractive 'treat' - copra meal, they inhale it!
