What would I use this bit for?
I got three bits in trade for a port-shank show bit. The first is a small snaffle, I got some bit guards for it and it works great for my older horses. I don't like it for my youngsters because the mouthpiece is a bit thin.
The second is what I believe to be a Tom Thumb. It's like a snaffle in the middle, with the shanks on the side. I'll never use this, I looked up Tom Thumb and it's the bit that contradicts itself.
The third is really odd. It's a THICK mouthpiece, with a tiny little port (if I remember correctly) and teeny little shanks. What would I use this bit for? I don't think it would even fit in my horses mouths. O_o'
I'll try to get pics of it today. My computer and my camera don't like each other x-x
Ummm geez. I'm trying to figure it out but I cant really picture it in my head. There are lots of bits like that but it depends on what the shanks you are talking about look like. I hope you can get pictures uploaded!
It almost sounds like a Mikmar.
Pictures would help! Does it have a brand name stamp on it anywhere?
