Things really are bigger in Texas!
Cute little Texas pig .......That was killed in the town of Cut-N-Shoot TX. We call them Piney Wood Rooter's.
Over 1,800 lb. wild boar shot and killed in Conroe , Texas near the
County Airport, East of I-45 and near the community of Cut and Shoot.
Killed by a medical Radiology worker...What would you do if this beast
was coming at you? Run for dear life? Climb a tree or simply get run over?
Yep......only in Texas ! We were taught to stand still because there eye sight is poor. By standing
still they probably would not see you and walk right on by. And No, you can't out run them!! Look
at how tall the grass and weed's are. How fast do you think you would be running thru that?
A texan came to an Australian property for a visit.
"How much land you got?" he drawls.
"50,000 acres," replies the Aussie.
The Texan laughs. "I got me 500,000 acres back in texas."
They get on their horses to check out the property. They end up having a race and at the end the Texan turns to the Aussie. "My horse is faster back in Texas too, your horse would be left in the dust."
Suddenly a mob of Kangaroos erupt from the scrub, the Texan's horse shy violently and dumping him in a heap before taking off in a cloud of dust. The Aussie gets off to help him up.
"Dang nammit! What were those things?" he babbles.
"Rabbits," replied the Aussie.
So not everythin is bigger in Texas lol
pics of the pig don't show. but I would not want to meet
an 1800 lb hog. unless it was BBQ time. LOL
kiki, that is a good one. Rabbits. lol:lol::lol:
Ugh, I will have to wait until I get back to Dad's to try loading the pix again. I think the whole thing was fabricated but it is still cool to look at.
lol. Thats where I rode growing up. To the fruit stand everyday and summer/long weekend rides would end up at the airport.
Oh, it's fake for sure. The camera is close to the hog, but the people are farther back. Now, I'm not saying that the hog isn't a 400-500 lb hog. Thats still a hell of a hog, and no way would I want to be hunting that thing. Around here we hunt with dogs and a knife. No other weapons. There have been a few times though where we had to have someone go get a pistol becuase the hog was so big that the dogs couldn't hold it long enough for someone to slit it's throat. The last hog I hunted was probably about 350-400lbs and it about ate my friend for dinner. lol.
Here's something that is true for you.
This gator was killed in Bar X Ranch. While he's not overly big, he is a big gator. 13ft long. It also lived about 30 mins away from me. lol.
kiki- I loled at that joke haha
