Riding a sweaty horse
hey i had a riding lesson at college today and if the horse ur ment to be riding is really wet and sweaty do you thinks its cruel to ride it im asking this cause i told my tutor that the horse was sweaty but she said just tack it up i felt bad cause she was really sweaty and wet

No, it's not 'cruel'. It's not 'nice', may be unacceptable to some, but I don't find it cruel.

It's not bad to ride a sweaty horse. My horses are hot and sweaty after workouts all the time. But just remember that the harder you ride them, the harder you take care of them. They need to be cooled, rubbed down, and showered after working.

If the horse is exhausted, depressed, and/or really short of breath, then I would call it cruel to ride him. Sweat alone isn't a big deal, though.

No- my horse comes in sweaty frequently after running around like a loon in the pasture. I just make sure he's dry and cool before he goes to bed
