Growing a mane? My gelding's mane has never really been very long. I tried roaching him once and he looked awful, so I eventually just let it grow again and now it's only three or four inches long and I would like to grow it longer for the flashy effect. Any ideas? |
dont brush it unless it really really needs it. that will keep you from breaking the hairs |
MTG works miracles! Its the only product that i know of that works real well, but boy does it work! Original M-T-G (Equine - Grooming - Horse Shampoo Conditioner - Conditioners) I love the stuff! It does stink something awful but i just wear gloves when applying it, you should be able to get it at any like tractor supply or fleet farm. I swear by the stuff! Im using it right now on my paint geldings mane (he got really sick in the spring and started to loose his mane) - his tail (got put with a young horse at my barn and that horse ended up being a tail chewer. Caught it early tho so i am just using it on the base of his tail and its working great) - and on a spit on his leg where he nicked it on the feeder. I love the stuff! |
This is what you get with MTG. I use it on all my horses. I love the stuff. http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h1...ssie06-1-1.jpg |
