Colleges with Equne Studies
I'm on a college search again. I honestly don't want to go back to school, but I need a fall back plan and my mom is pushing me to find a few that I'd like to go to.
Anyway, the big question is: Does going to a horsey college really worth it? Or is it better to go to a regular college and do horse activites outside of that?
Right now I haven't settled on what kind of career I'd like to have, however horse trainer is one of them. It'd be cool to have my own barn and do the whole training thing. I'd like to focus on doing dressage although I'm very open to the other disciplines.

So far my mom found me this school: Rocky Mountain College

I'm kinda doubtful. I wonder if I'd really be getting anything out of the equine studies in a college. It just seems like I'd learn more by being an apprentice for a good trainer.
But if I do go to a normal college, I doubt I'd have time to find a barn and work there while balancing schoolwork.
So yeah, I have no idea what to think or do. Hope all that made enough sense. I'd love to hear your opinions on this.

do you know what you want to do when you graduate?

^ No. That's why I'm finding this very hard.
A couple my choices are horse trainer or dolphin trainer. I'm also interested in church ministry, photography, writing, and music/singing. I like all of these equally.

William Woods University in Fulton, MO is wonderful. Plus they're the only 4 year equine college around
