Do you vacuum your horse?
What kind of vacuum do you use? I am looking into them and was hoping to get a cheap one :-|

The only kinds of vacuums that I have ever used were the ones specifically for horses. My gelding loved it. He would stand still for it and practically go to sleep. He loved to have his belly done the best. I think they are great for getting horses good and clean when you can't bathe them (at a show, when its really cold, etc).

I was looking at the prices for the ones for horses and I just can't afford it right now :/
Do you remember what brand?

I recently purchased a Metro Vac N' Blo from Schneiders....and I have to wonder why I didn't buy it sooner. It has a great deal of pull and came with several attachments. It does a nice job with getting deep down into the coat.
Schneiders had a very good price @ $220.00 plus an extra $20.00 for shipping. Very happy with it. :D

I've done it for years with a shop vac. I don't know why, but many of my horses love it! The skittish ones freaked a little at first, but soon got used to it. I only do it about once a week, since it seems to pull out their hair after a while. :P

Yep, I use a mini shop vac.
Sierra loves it, then again she loves almost anything she can be groomed with. :P
