I need help with my boots!
Ok, so I just bought a new pair of boots last weekend. Heres a picture of what they look like.
Anyways, about 1.5 inches above where the leather meets the upper, it flexes into my ankle really bad, to the point I cannot wear them. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to fixing that? I have cans of green beans (lol!) in there right now trying to get the leather to go out rather than in. Thanks for any help!
You might try oiling them in the area that is stiff and bends into your ankle. I have always just worn them through that issue, but the first time or 2 they get wet and I wear them til they dry usually takes care of the problem.
That is another idea, soak them in a tub of warm water then put them on and wear them until they are dry. That's usually only effective in the summertime though, right now it may freeze your toes off. ;p
I might just have to soak them and wear them around the house!! lol
I can usually wear through the pain of breaking in a new pair of boots, but this is the worst its ever been. LOL I sound like such a baby!
Maybe try wearing them with real thick socks to help proctect your ankles and to push the leather out. Thats generally what i do but it may be different for you. Just a suggestiong :) good luck and hope you dont hurt too much
