Dovers Cash for Clunkers Saddle program
Cash for Clunkers - Dover Saddlery.
I thought this was pretty cool.
Trade in your old saddle and get a $250 credit towards a new saddle (Only a few that apply)
So long as the saddle is rideable and has a good tree, you can trade it in.

it's a great idea. too bad they didn't have this when I was buying my new saddle. that's definitely more money than I got for my old-but-still-ride-able saddle. =(

Love the idea, but I don't want any of those saddles- curious if maybe they would put two saddles towards one? I'll have to check with customer service.

It wouldn't hurt to check!
I have a saddle to trade in...but not enough money to purchase the new saddle. Unfortunately none of those are the ones I want either...but I wouldn't refuse any of them that's for sure.

Ah, it also says that saddle trade purchase must be of the saddles full price. So right now a Dover Saddle is on sale for $500ish, but it's regular price is $700ish - so I couldn't trade in a saddle for the sale price.
That's dumb. Heck, if I had $700ish, I'd be buying a good Stubben or a brand new M.Toulouse.

MIEventer- Exactly my point; why buy a saddle like that, if you have the money, and can buy one of those, or a Stubben, why on earth would you go with a Dover saddle?

Oh darn :[ Well, it seemed like a good deal.

Yeah, I've seen it month ago when I was looking for the saddle. Unfortunately nothing to chose from. Lol! BTW, I think Circuit saddles are not bad (I sit in some when I was in Dover), but I still would go with the name. :)
