best teen horse owner magazine

What would be the best magazine for me to get a subscription to? I'm going to ask for it for Christmas. I want something that is informative, but interesting for me and my age group. I own qhs and do western. Any help?

i got young rider... it tells you a lot of how to help train your horse in both english & western..

I love western riding and I find Horse And Rider very interesting it has trainers such Bob Avila, Stacy Westfall, and Clinton Anderson. . Young rider is a mix of both english and western but I would say it's more geared toward english than western riding. Horse illustrated has a little of everything and it has extensive information on a specific breed each issue with a poster that has fast facts on one side and the breed of horse on the other. Equus is based around horse health it has information on current horse health problems as well as new breakthroughs. Western Horseman has information on western horse bloodlines, training tips and Quarter Horse breeding ranchs It is more geared toward the ranchs and people than what it is the horses. They will give information as you read about a ranch and its current operation about the horses that got it to where it is and things like that. I hope this helps you out some :) .

Thank you very much everyone! I'll report if I get a subscription to one for Christmas.
