Snow/Winter

Does it snow where you are, get cold enough to freeze? Just wondering how many other people have to put up with winter. Frozen hoses, water tanks, noses and fingers. Do you keep riding in the winter, or give your horse the time off? We still ride if there is no heavy snow or ice. but we seem to get more ice than snow here. How about you :?:

Yeah actually like -35*C with wind blowing and snowing, yeah I guess you can say that it gets cold here. You liv in Kansas?
I did not know that it snowed there..

Yes it snows here, not much but we do get some. We are close to Oklahoma (about 20 miles) so pretty far south. WInter doesn't last long here only a couple of really cold months Jan. and Feb.

Most of the year is winter here, infact it has snowed already, way back in september, freaky huh..

Blah - i hate winter! I live just outside of Toronto, and although it snowed little the other day (apparently, I slept through it!) it has just been rainy and cold.
Im not looking forward to the -35 weather at all!
I ride through the winter, as long as its not too cold.

Yeah I have not rode for almost a year so maby I should before it reall ydoes snow alot.

Couldn't do it myself. I grew up in Michigan and had enough winter there. I don't mind snow it you can just sit inside with a cup of coco and look out the window at how pretty it is. If I have to go out in it its YUCK POOEY. Here is a photo of Vida and I think the only snow we got last year. It was gone in a few days.

Thats a great picture. :D

Its starting to get cold over here now. Freezing on a night, frost in the morning, everywhere covered with brown crunchy leaves. I love it.
Especially when I see my babies with their heads out over the doors, blowing smoke from their nostrils.
We dont get snow like we use to. I remember having loads of snow as a kid. Jumping the snowdrifts through the fields. Ahhh the good old days.
