Trail Course. How to make?

Hello. I know what obstacles are included in trail courses, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to make one, cheaply? Since I don't do trail classes much, I'd rather not spend a whole lot of money on the poles, bridge, etc. I already have a tarp(found it in the middle of my grandpa's field. He told me to take it:lol:). I've also got some concrete blocks which I think I could use for the small jump. I've got plywood and some old 2x4's that I could make into a bridge, but I don't know how to, or how long. Any ideas on inexpensive materials or even extra obstacles would be greatly appreciated.

List of obstacles I'd like to include:

  • Rope Gate
  • Wooden Bridge
  • Ground Poles
  • 14" Jump
  • Curtain obstacle(sheds of a tarp maybe?)
  • Ground Tarp or Raincoat
  • Mailbox
  • Anything else you can think of!!

You're supposed to be able to ride up to it,open it, pull out the mail(piece of paper), show it to the judge, put it back, and close the mailbox. Idk really why its there. Some horses are afraid of them though.

I got a few poles today in little flower pots with cement. shorter than what I want, but I think they'll work for the gate.
