My family is moving this summer on ten acres. I will be getting my own room and bathroom. I need some ideas(maybe pics.) on how to design my room and bathroom. I dont want it to be all horses, but have little touches of horsey in it. Plus, i need the color scheme to match this mural for the wall....
Its from pb teen. Pleez answer!
hmmm definitley pink and black in your room same with bathroom if you want it to match. I suggest a pink comforter with some black in it. Also if your windows big enough than one pink and one black curtain. Hope i helped!
the only thing is i want my room to be bright, not darkish
Deffinatly have more pink then black then.. you could leave your other walls white (assuming they are white) and do a very light pink border top and bottom..
If you want it to be bright then i would go for fresh and bright..
By that i mean lighter pinks insted of deep pinks. If u know what i mean
Thanks i think that will help!
Hope it goe's well!
I just did a quick search for you at target.com:
I really like the Dwell Studio Robin and the Gardenia(page 2). You could always do a really cute pink chair with a white mosquito net canopy around it in the corner. I saw that setup once before with a little Chandelier underneath.
It looked similar to this(please excuse the horrid paint drawing).
I always thought that it'd make a nice little reading nook.
Anyway, those are my suggestions.
I just re-did my room (kinda), made it less horsey.
Took down all of my pictures except for a poster of Whistlejacket (the horse in my avatar). The only other horse things are framed pictures of my horses, my ribbons and 2 trophies.
It looks good, has the horse thing going on, but no overload.
I think you can take a pink from the mural, and paint the walls that color. Since you want bright, you can do the floor trim white, along with the window border. Maybe a pink plaid curtain..
If your looking for furniture, do WHITE! Wood brown and pink don't mix :P
Are you guys gonna have horses on the 10 acres?
