Does this mean my horse is a tri colored paint?
ok so i have a 3 1/2 coming on 4 paint tabiano horse. she is bay and white but she has this area on her neck where the bay goes to black not dark bay but black. the area has white splotches on black. her body is bay, her main and tail is black, and dark brown, with a few strands of white here and there. So my question is does this make her a "tri- color" paint?

Yes, I would think she'd be a tri-color Paint.

I'll bet the "black" area is under the mane. Do you have pictures?

If your Paint is bay\white, he's already classified as a tri-colored :D

My mare is tricolored as well. All she has are black tips on her ears and black in her forelock.

yeah i dont know a lot about paints, but in piebald/ skewbald terms we would call it an odd coloured or tri, dont know what it would be in American paint terms though.
