what kind of truck to get!!!
Hi, I was wondering what kind of truck I should get. I just want to tow a 2 horse trailer, nothing too fancy or huge.
What kinds of trucks can you guys recommend? I'd like at least a v6. I was thinking about a Toyota, but I'm not sure.
OH! If you could put your likes and dislikes, towing capacity, weight of trailers and gas mileage too that would be fabulous! Everything on the internet is kinda hazy when it comes down to it.

I would look at a 3/4 ton in whatever you get. Motor size depends on where you plan to go. If you are just going on short trips without mountains or hilly terrain a 6 cyl. will be ok but for anything else I would get an 8 cyl. I have a Chevy 2500HD 3/4 ton and we pull a large 2 horse bumper pull with a small living quarters (bunk beds, toilet, sink and shower) It will squat my truck if I dont use the weight distribution hitch. The EPA has a site that has good gas mileage info http://www.fueleconomy.gov/

I have a Mitsubishi L200 Double cab. I love it for towing. I cant give you figures off the top of my head, but its good on fuel, It is a 2.5 litre engine, and tow's a two horse trailer (with horses in) Lol  no problem. :)
