Riding lessons

Not sure if this is the right place, so I posted also in "Horse Talk"
For all the people in North Eastern Ohio.
Anyone know of a boarding center that provides cheap lessons in Ashtabula county? Preferably Eastern Ashtabula county?

Ashtabula County, Ohio Horse Directory - O Horse!
There's a list of some places in your county. Not sure if your looking for english, western, or just anything so i put the whole list up.

Ahh, thank you! I'm looking for English, but anything will do at this point.

*Ha, I meant I'm looking for Western.

Also I was wondering what exactly you do in lessons? Stupid question I know...

In my lessons we work on balance, position, cues for our horses (and different ways to get them from different levels of horses - unstarted to the broke ones), we practice, learn new maneuvers and patterns, we work on some groundwork. My western instructor and I also go for tons of trail rides (not during lessons, just for fun) so I get used to trailering out and dealing with her different horses (instead of only riding my own) outside of the arena/lesson spot. Sometimes she brings out the babies and teaches me stuff to try on my filly. With my western instructor she asks me what I want to learn and work on and we kinda set goals. With my english lessons, its very "by the book". We work more towards my riding levels. My western lessons give me a little more horsemanship knowledge because it's a little bit of everything, I think with her I've had lessons on 15 or more different horses. From my experience (and I've had many different instructors until I've picked my two I really like and use now) is to talk with them and discuss what you want to achieve and learn. I think every instructor is different. :)
