Online Sources for Equine Supplies?

Just curious if anyone has any favorite (and reputable) online stores for picking up horse goodies. I use three main ones: Dover Saddlery, State Line Tack, and SmartPak, but I was wondering if there are any other good ones out there I should know about?

Horseloverz.com

I love that site i've gotten many things from there.

I've used valleyvet.com a lot for grooming supplies, wormers, etc. Definitely not tack though. I buy most of my tack on eBay! Horseloverz.com also sells on eBay. Usually, when you win one of their auctions, you can order up to $50 more off their website with no additional shipping charges. I've had a lot of pleasant orders from them. They're great if you need un-popular sizes of things at cheap prices! Last summer I ordered two Masta heavy winter blankets in size 84 from them for $30 total...perfect for my big boy!

I stay away from TackWholesale.com like the plague!!!

I like KV vet supply kvvet.com and dr's foster and smith have just started doing horse stuff. I always get my dog medi. through them so was glad to see they have started doing some horse stuff. drsfostersmith.com they have the best price on the probios which I use a lot. They also usually have good prices on frontline and heartguard for dogs if your interested. We are fortunate to have a saddle maker nearby for our leather goods so don't buy that online

Sorry editing in: I love Smartpak! I have a dog I ran over last year and I have her on the Recover. They just autoship it every month so I don't have to reorder.

You already mentioned it, but I really like Statelinetack.com. ;)
Dover Saddlery is really good too! Those are my favs.

I no longer use Stateline, since it was bought out by Horse.com (Country Supply). Some of the WORST customer service I have ever had was at Country Supply, so I won't deal with them or any of their commonly owned sites (they also own dog.com).

I stick to most Dover and some small tack shop sites, like:
http://aretesaddlery.com
http://www.classicsaddlery.com
http://www.charlottes-saddlery.com
http://www.marystack.com

I have had great luck with all of the above sites.

That's interesting, didn't know that about State Line. Also found out recently they stopped selling State Line supplies in PetSmart stores...kind of annoying for me, since we just got a new PetSmart on the heels of our local english tack shop closing ~_~ I wonder if the two events are related: the horse.com buyout and the break with PetSmart, I mean.

I love jeffersequine.com and smithbrothers.com

I like everything mentioned! So here's one not mention...I think!

shnieders - lots - www.sstack.com

Back in the Saddle - Horsey Apparel - ???

Valley Vet - lots - www.valleyvet.com

Country Suplly - lots - www.horse.com

There's more I just can't think of them now!

:D

Yup, PetSmart bought them out quite a while back (1995 or so? they used to be an independent shop/catalog) and then recently PetSmart decided the horse thing wasn't working out and they wanted to expand their small pet services, so they sold Stateline to Horse.com (who bought Counrty Supply before that and created Dog.com, Fish.com, and Ferret.com, they paied $1 MILLION for Horse.com!!!! yikes.). So, that's why you won't see any more statelines in PetSmart stores, and if you didn't notice, their inventory has changed. They went from mid to upper quality items to low to mid quality items... including the addition of "Derby Originals" Indian made cr@pola, lol. The Kincades were bad enough (part of PetSmart's doing), but now they've included even more low-priced junk brands... Very disapointing!

I refuse to support the big box stores, even if I can save a little money. I'd rather support the smaller, real businesses, knowing I'm supporting real people like me 8).
