Standardbred

Rowzy 03-04-2010 07:04 PM

Some kind of warmblood? Seen a lot of Clydesdale x Thoroughbred crosses that look like that.

BlueJayWay 03-06-2010 01:39 AM

Shetland. =]

No! Fallabella! How could you guess Shetland? *Facepalm*

I think I see a little bit of Domestic Shorthair in the second pic - GHOST KITTAH!

Serously though, Trakehner, Standardbred, and Warmblood are all good guesses.

All right, if that is your horse, I am seriously jealous. What a beautiful animal!

I'm better at figuring out what he's not. Not a Trakehner. Not hairy enough for a draft cross. He could possibly be an appendix QH, but he'd be an extra special one if so. Someone on another board has some Latvian horses, and he looks more like them than anything you'd normally see in the US. Just my humble opinion--I'm far from an expert.

My guess is a Hanoverian/TB cross, but I have no real idea. ;)
