My horse has suffered for the last year from scouring and loss of weight. I have tried pretty much every supplement and feed, finally I read something about yeast helping the hind gut so I thought 'hey why not!!'. He's been on this for just over a month and it's a miracle, his dropping have firmed up and his weight is starting to hold!! Added bonus is his coat is glowing too!!
Just wandered if anyone else had used yeast and what you thoughts were?
I have never given straight yeast (the kind that you buy for bread etc) but I have always given my horses a yeast culture based supplement such as Diamond V (our feed store no longer carries that) so I have recently switched to Gladiator which is the samething just under a different brand name.

Here is a good yeast supplement. You only have to give .8 oz a day so it lasts a long time.
