American Pinto Arabian Association: Defunct?
Can a registry just disappear into thin air? My horse used to be registered with the American Pinto Arabian Registry, but now it seems like they went out of business...Is that possible? Do you think they might have merged with another registry???

I have 2 different addresses, from old breed registry lists-- don't know which, if either, is most current--

American Pinto Arabian Association
Box 3
Lincoln, NM 88338

American Pinto Arabian Association
PO Box 459
Ennis, Texas 75120

And yes, it IS possible for a registry to go defunct and vanish, especially if it was a small, little-known little-used registry with only a few members and few to no benefits/events to keep people interested.

MY guess is that most partbred arabs were registered with AHA, and most pintabians were registered with the Pintabian, Pinto, or with the Arab registry as partbreds. (If one parent was a purebred)

I know the pintabian seem to be gaining in popularity now.
