saddlebred registration help

ok i am thinking about adopting roxy a 5 or 6 yo saddlebred mare and the adoption place said that her papers had been lost from previous owners i was wondering just how hard it is to get a duplicate of lost papers if i could get her registration number that would make it easier im asuming (never really had a reg horse most of mine have either been resucues or crosses) would there be anything else to help track down her papers besides her reg. name ahd what website would i beable to look at that will be helpful (the papers are not a huge deal but it would be nice to know her bloodlines and everything i dont plan on showing or anything like that i mostly trail ride and go to local hunter paces for fun)

i have been looking here ASHA - American Saddlebred Horse Association but all i am finding is half saddlebred registration stuff unless im looking in the wrong places

First of all, not to be rude but punctuation would help greatly in understanding your post. That was very hard to read.

Do you know her exact registered name? If you know her registered name, and she turns out to match that name, then getting the papers will not be a big problem.

If I were you, I would go to www.trot.org/forum and ask the help of the rescue advocates there who can access the online database and know the ins and outs of Saddlebred Identity Recovery. Secondly, I would not just look on the ASHA Website, I would email one of the registry associates here: ASHA - American Saddlebred Horse Association and see if they can help you.

Are you sure she's full blooded? I always thought saddlebreds were more slender then that. I've seen some TWH's that were older style and built like tanks.. but Ive always thought the saddle breds had longer necks and narrower heads..
