Woo! Project pony!
Sorry if this doesn't belong here, I wasn't sure where to put it.Today, I "picked up" a project pony! Here's the story:

My grandma's living with us (old age), and we are trying to find her a little rental. A cute little rental, 10ish Minutes from where we are currently living, on a horse property, came up today. I know this horse barn, and I've been there and loved it. So, my mom called immediatly, and luckily the owner let us look at it today.
We looked at the rental (it's a granny unit), came out, and started talking about my horse, and how her old owners misrepresented us. We talked for a while, and the owner told me that she owned a really cute pony that had old back problems (that are now fixed), and his old owners mis lead the owner, too. She asked me if I wanted to ride him for her, and I was like, "Of course!". She was looking for a junior to ride him (he's small), because he bucks kids off. She said she'd pay for 10 lessons, and then I could ride him a lot, if it was sutiable.
Here's his stats:
name: sundance (aka sunny)
breed/color: tabinio paint, i don't know his breed
age: 11yo
vices: bucks
height: 13hh, but a bit bulky
but yeah, i'm really excited. he's the cutest little thing on this planet. he's like a little hampster (fuzzyy!).

:) i can't wait until his trainer calls me soon. i'll get pictures tommorow

When I was about 13, (5 years ago) I was boarding at this barn where there were horses everywhere. There were lots of other kids too and we used to do these "green rides" where we'd each get some horses from the fields and go "train" them together. It was the most fun thing in the world. We all thought we were pro trainers turning a bunch of inexperienced horses into ideal lesson rides.

Projects are a blast. Even if you don't show them, its fun to watch a horse improve and know it was your responsibility.

Oh, that's be so fun to just get a horse and "train" them!
Yeah, it's wonderful to watch a horse improve. Plus, the owner did mention something about showing him :) I'm not trying to get my hopes up too much, but it's a possibility. I just hope I can fit on him! He's 13hh and I'm 5'4"ish! He's a pretty chubby 13hh, though.
