stable Care

Yes we are building our horse barn and we plan on putting down concret sand and rubber mats on top, but I would like to know about bedding. What is the best far as coast wise. Because we have 5 stalls to maintane and we will be stalling our horses alot intill our pastures get going good.
And where can I buy bulk.

Thank you
Lisa

In my area I can buy bulk sawdust from a couple of different locations. The one place you can buy as little as a pay loader bucket full (which almost fits in the back of a standard bed pick up truck) and pick it up yourself.
This is what we do and then shovel it into a spare stall for storage. More work but saves quite a bit of money.
Obviously make sure that if you go this route the place you are purchasing from does not use any black walnut.

Other than that I have heard good things about the pellet bedding last well (like Woodypet).
