Fursuiting is very amazing! many people are doing this and it seems quite fun indeed!
Um, what's so fun about dressing up in an animal suit?
Have you ever had to wear a mascot suit? They're hot, dirty, and smell funky.
It's nothing new, either. Google 'furries' and see what you come up with.
Warning, NSFW!
Oh noo..hopefully its not like the "fur suit" people on one of those CSI shows. They had mass orgies and all sorts of nasty weird crap. Haha yeah, I realize its just a tv show but I seriously didn't think people dressed up as animals..willingly and without pay! O.o
I'm good... NOT BAD!
I have nothing against it. I agree, there is the nasty yucky people then, there is the good. :D I would hate to wear one though..
It's a weird subset of society, Dutch. Some are good and some are freaky, and of course only the freaky ones get the attention.
If it's something you find fascinating, that's nice for you. However, the idea of wearing an incredibly hot fursuit makes me sweat just thinking about it!
I didn't know that this could be a hobby. To be honest I find it very strange. Why would you spend countless hours making a suit out of fur?? and I hope it's real fur(one can wish right), second what is it that you do with a fur suit?
I know there are mascots, but they serve a define purpose is very specific events, but fur suits?? I'm a little bothered to even try to guess what kind of people would actually make them, let alone what they would do with them(it).
Having dressed up as the Easter Bunny one year for an event I learned first hand how uncomfortable the whole thing is.
Back in the day when I had time to volunteer, I did a lot of leading around for the Mascots. You couldn't have paid me to do it. Those suits are so heavy and as posted above non-breathable and I refuse to even try to guess how often these things can be washed-which brings up a new topic....can those real fur suits be washed at all??
They're not made of real fur, 2Geldings. They're usually made of the same stuff the mascot suits are.
I did find out as an interesting tidbit that people who are really into this whole furry lifestyle, put battery powered fans in their suits so they're not so hot.
I don't understand the whole attraction behind the phenomenon, but then, there are a lot of fetishes I don't 'get'.
