Goat breathing like dog - with mouth open&tongue hanging out...?
My goat, Emmett, was breathing like that. But only when he was getting hot and playing. Does that mean he's getting too hot, should I like hose him down? It is spring here, but it's still slightly chilly... He was breathing heavily with his mouth open, like my dog does. Is that normal or is he being overheated?

Sheep do it when they get hot or have to travel distances in the heats, so i would assume it's normal for goats as well. We never do anything specific about it as the sheep arein a mob and not tame, we are just careful not to push them too far. They recover quick enough.

^^ Agreed. Goats will do that when they have been running hard and playing, so as long as that's the case, I wouldn't worry. If he's doing it while just sitting around, that's a cause for concern. As long as he has plenty of access to good clean water at all times, he's probably just been playing and having fun :)

Yep, the two above posters hit it right on the nose.

Yes when goats get over worked and overly excited they tend to do that. If they do don't urge them on let them relax. If you do there could be a possibility of death. Goats get stressed really easily.
