Another amazing artist uses Keegan...
Shannon McClane is an Indiana equine artist with an amazing style and heaps of talent!
She honoured both me, Emily AND Keegan by asking to use a photo of Keegan in a future painting. Today she posted her finished art on her Facebook fan page and WOWZERS it's amazing!
It's also huge. 40 by 30 this painting is SO great! I wanted everyone to have a look at this! I am so flattered she liked my photo enough to turn it into unbelievable beautiful art work.
I am a HUGE SUCKER for traditional art. In case ya'll hadn't noticed.
This is her Fan Page. Please join it! Follow her, she posts WIPs and she's SO good. She'll be doing a picture of Eric too! I am STUPIDLY giddy with glee over that.

Check this out!
This is the photo she used as reference. Just a little bitty photo and she made a BIGGER than life size painting! Whew, I hope I can see it in person!
So yeah! I'm so impressed!
Nice work huh guys?!
Don't forget to check out her fan page! She has more art loaded up there including dogs that are just phenomenal!
That is an awesome painting. She did a great job. Can I drop a mare off tomorrow? I need a Keegan baby
Are you serious?
He's back in Indiana right now for breeding season. So far he's had three mares booked, and he's only been home for a week and a half.
He will only be here for breeding till July I believe. I can get you breeding fee and mare care prices.
He's very nice lookin' these days. He's grown up so to speak.
I took this two days ago.
These are from the Noble Horse Theater in Chicago a few months ago.
One of his foals from last year just sold to a doctor in North Carolina.
He makes some nice babies.
Covered in winter woolies but this is Cullen. A Clyde cross. He'll be a year in June. Sired by Keegan. Emily standing with him is 5 foot 6.
These two mares are sired by Keegan. Gawky but they are young! They are Friesian crosses. TB dams I think.
This little colt was sold already too, and he was only six months old but a beautiful mover! I believe a 3/4th Friesian.
So, want me to book ya? ;)
lol, and the other day I French braided his feathers. ;)
He's more than just a fancy show horse and a pretty face. We've all be trail riding daily since he's been back. Of course I ride another Friesian and his beloveded owner Emily rides him. People stop, get off their horses and come to us to ask about him!
He's "Adventure Stallion".
We stopped at this camp and tons of people came to hang out and talk to us about Friesians and meet Keegan. He ate it UP.
I love Keegan but I don't think my mare could carry a Friesian foal.... how tall is he?
I was thinking of looking into buying a decent thoroughbred for the cross. I know Keegan's fee and everything : ). I've been wanting a foal from him for a long time. Does he have any for sale on the ground?
How tall is your mare? Keegan is a little under 17 hands right now.
Yep, Cullen is for sale. The Friesian/Clyde cross. He's big and beautiful and an in your pocket kind of guy. He'll be a year in June. He's going to be a big but refined. He's got a laid back way about him like his mother, MaeBell a Clyde we trail ride.
Cullen will probably be an excellent eventer or fox hunting type. I adore this guy. He's sweet as pie.
He's got a TON of feathers already. These photos were from March.
He looks mangey now, lol. You know, shedding out! But he's coal black under the falling out winter fuzz. He's got some neat white markings on his legs. He's got a TON of feather. I could probably french braid his feathers now too. His mane is long too, long enough to do running braids in.
I can get some new photos of him if you'd like? He's SO sweet. His mom is 17 hands I believe.
This is her while she was pregnant with him.
SHE is for sale too. Open, or covered by Keegan.
Annalie is only 14 hands. I've seen a FriesianXHaflinger before but I don't want to risk it.....
They sure are nice looking horses. I've got some money coming to me. I'm hoping to be able to breed this year or next. I'll have to see what happens.
