Roma reversable saddle pad

I was thinking about getting this saddle pad because it looks nice and cushy and is contoured. The only problem I have with it is it doesn't have girth or billet straps to hold it in place. Has anyone evr used it and had a problem?

I have that pad, but in burgandy/pink.
I like it, actually. I think if your saddle will slip, don't buy it, but if it's secure, then go ahead. It's really comfortable.

I absolutely HATE saddle pads without the girth straps to keep it in place... I had one once and halfway through my horse's workout I could literally pull it out form under the saddle because it had worked its way back to far.
However, this is not hard to fix!! You can easily sew one on yourself, which eliminates the problem.
Soooo... if you like the pad, don't let that hold you back :)

I have a saddle pad like that and I love it!

I've never had a problem with it slipping since I only use it for dressage and I make sure the girth is nice and tight.

I don't like those as much, since they lack the billet straps to hold the saddle in place more, but like someone posted above, you can just sew some on yourself!
