Brushing/Galloping/Splint Boots - Any Real Difference?

Hello,
I was wondering, is there actually any real difference between galloping, brushing, and splint boots? Typically, galloping & brushing boots seem to be around half the price of splint boots, so I'm hoping the answer to my question is "no". LOL.

Thanks!

No. There are different styles, though. You can get the ones that have a hard patch from the knee to the fetlcok, or ones that extend back around the fetlock, as well. When I googled galloping boots, I saw some that looked more like SMBs that had double thickness on the insides.

I've used several kinds of splint boots, and I like the ones that have the leather patch on the inside. Just my opinion.
