Our first attempt......
This is my new horses first dressage test with me. I would love to know what you dressage guys think to me and him?
He is an ex showjumper having finished his career abroad he has come to me to play at the lower level stuff. The lady that imported him had a lot of difficulties with him and so after a long battle with napping and rearing I now have a very near 'normal' horse! lol
He has taken to cross country very well which i was pleased with :-) and now these are pics from the dressage we did at the weekend. We have had quite a battle sorting out his head shaking which came on overnight (i think because of the very hot weather weve had recently) hence the net, which seems to be sorting 90% of it., thankfully! He scored 69% which i was thrilled with and took home 2nd place!! :-D
All comments welcome on our first attempt!
He looks like he's been doing it his whole life! :P
:-) aww thank you! My friends have said how well hes taken to an arena with no jumps! Lol Hes funny though because of his showjump training abroad he always thinks I'm wanting him to go from walk the canter so we dropped a few marks there, and he can jog in walk! Funny boy!
I was very pleased with him especially as I had to pull him out of the last test because of his head shaking, so to come back and do this test with his nose net so nicely I was chuffed! :-)
