pasture and electroshepherd

Hello guys,
I'm planning to make a new pasture for my horse. And I don't know what to do with the fence. My horse tries to get out of the pasture for fresh grass or something else interesting for her. We have rubber bands now, but it doesn't stop her. I'm afraid of injury when she tries to get out. What kind of material do you suggest to use? may be wooden boards?

Is it save if horse tries to put her leg or head between boards?
what do you think about electroshepherd? I don't want to use it at all but it seems to be the only way to keep her in pasture
thanks

What do you mean by rubber bands?
Is the fence in the photo what you have now?

I've never heard of Electroshepherd. I've heard of Electrobraid and various other electric fencing, though.

There's nothing wrong with electric, and it'll keep your animals off the fence.

I have no clue what you're talking about when you say rubber bands.
