One more for the color experts. Opinions please!
I think buckskin? Though I'm kinda thrown by the dun stripe down the back. Mom was a bay and the dad was a buckskin.
Buckskin. Dorsel stripes are seen often on non-dun horses, it's caused by counter shading. You can often find even bay's with them, though it's almost always much lighter then you'd see a dun dorsel stripe, or less crisp.
I also say sooty buckskin with countershading. A beauty of a buckskin at that. :D
