Do Cleveland Bays make good jumper/eventers?
I'm looking for horses to buy, and take me to higher levels of eventing, like training+. A woman I know mentioned a 15.3hh Cleveland Bay mare who loves to jump. I don't know anything about the horse yet, but in general, would a Cleveland Bay make a good eventer?

Yes! Not to mention they are gorgeous, I would kill for one.

They are gorgeous, strong, sane horses so I'd think you could do just about anything with one! I'd love to have one but usually they are out of my price range....... There's a ranch in Canada that breeds absolutely stunning horses. Goodluck!

We went to see one once and he was awesome. Very sturdy guy and I think would make awesome eventer.

I have just got myself a cleveland bay and he is now 24 and has been eventing his whole life! He is now with me to put his hoofs up and relax a bit and is great for me to help with my confdence but he is still very fit and my sister had him doing some jumping yesterday and he still loved every minute of it :D
