They just look like they have more hair to me (in the after picture)... what have you changed about their feed?

How much time has passed between pictures? There is not a noticeable difference and if fed proper they can gain fairly quickly

I took these about a week and a half afterwards. Was that too soon maybe? They really look good now, next time I go I'll take some photos

I would wait about a month or a month and a half before you take pictures again...

What have you changed about their diet? Have you given them more hay? Are they on a supplement?

Their on a special feed called Afriwing, along with their normal Alzu. They get molasis (sp?) blocks in their fields, and lots of hay and/or grass. Thank gosh its winter now, the grass is growing nicely :)

Free choice hay is going to be your best bet (and make sure that it is a good quality) ... is the special feed that they get a grain(sweet feed) or a pelleted feed?

I dont really know hw to describe it. Its kind of like a powder, with bits of both grain and pellets in it. I know that might sound abit odd, but the vet assured me its fine for them. The hay they have is great, its really good quality
