nurtural bitless bridle VS bridle I personnaly use a nurtural bitlesse bridle and love it!! I would never go back to a bit but thats my opinion. I would love to hear about other opinion concerning the bitlesse! http://dancanit.com/JTHORSE/jthorses...logo-rev.1.jpg VS http://www.saddleworldmaddington.com...e9271WENEW.jpg |
I've tried bitless before and I didn't like it because the loops were too heavy and would not release the rein as soon as I loosened up. That being said, I do like the idea, I just didn't like the design of the one I used. But I have nothing against a nice soft bit, used with soft hands! |
I've never gone bitless besides riding my gelding around in a halter. Bits work just fine for both of us, and give me that extra security knowing that if something did happen, I have a bit in their mouth to control them. |
yes i agree with branded heart. I had one and the reins didn't loosen up like i would have liked them too. plus my horse didn't respond to the bitless at all. he has a sensitive mouth so a bit is kinda iffy to but when we had the bitless in he ignored it {i had the nurtural one too} |
I think bitless bridles fine. I have nothing against them and they are really good for some horses. I like having a bit, especially because I do dressage, I think it gives better communication. BTW, I think you would get more answers if you made a thread in the horse training>natural horsemanship section or in the training section. :-) |
