Determining Foundation percentage?

Can anyone here familiar with AQHA horses help me determine what percentage foundation my mare is? Here is her pedigree.

I'm not math savvy, I have discalculia and figuring percentages just blows my mind haha. =)

It kind of depends on which foundation registry you are looking at registering with-- they each figure their %'s a bit differently (based on what ancestors they will accept as foundation/QH)

I was looking at the third one I think? The only non-QH I can find on her pedigree is Three Bars.

He was on there in 1940. There are a couple older ones than that, back in the 20's.

OK, That association counts any TB blood that appears in a pedigree of an ancestor foaled 1941 and after.

Based on that, and assuming that the foaling dates and pedigree info on allbreedpedigree shown behind your mare are correct, I have a rough % worked up for her.

Sugar Bars, f.1950, appears 2 times in the 5th generation (counting your mare's sire and dam as the 1st generation) so Sugar Bars' TB sire would be in the 6th generation twice, 2 x 1.5625%.

Grey Badger III, f.1947, appears once in the 6th generation, and he has a TB dam. The horses in the 7th generation (where Grey Badger III's dam is) count for .78125%, so 1 x .78125%.

Watch Poise, f.1946, appears in the 5th generation and has a TB dam, so her TB dam in the 6th generation counts as 1 x 1.5625%.

Blob Jr., f.1947, in the 6th generation has a TB sire, so for that TB in the 7th generation, 1 x .78125%.

Mr. Pig String, f.1961, in the 5th generation has a TB sire, so for that TB in the 6th generation, 1 x 1.5625%.

Beggabird, f.1942, in the 7th generation, has a TB sire, so for that TB in the 8th generation, 1 x .390625%.

Pepper By Busy Deck in the 7th generation also has a TB sire in the 8th generation, but I don't have a foaling date. If she was foaled prior to 1940, thats another 1 x .390625%.

Assuming that Pepper's TB is counted, that makes your girl 8.59375% TB, or 91.40625% Foundation QH.
