What color goes good with buckskin?
 

I was wondering what color for a show shirt would really pop with my horse's coat on the rail?

i would say almost any pastel color. like baby blue, pink, yellow, light green etc..

The colbalt blue looks really nice or a brighter pink. I am not a fan of lighter colors with buckskins since it seems to give a washed out look. Since your horse has many black points I would stay with an outfit that trims out well in black.

I saw a girl yesterday at a show with a beautiful darker buckskin with bright teal...(not tacky teal...classy teal) and it looked stunning.

IMO Buckskins need bold brighter colors in order to do them well for colors

Stay away from golds and yellows since it washes out the buckskin

definitely a Turquoise, Aqua or a teal color would look good with buckskin!

A girl at my stable that had a darker buckskin used to show with a darker version of periwinkle. You know it's not quite blue but it's not purple either just stuck in between...but it was somewhat bold. Most people thought ewwww but on show day she really stood out and the deep tones on her horse seemed to pop out more too.
