help .. plz
I have a 4 yr old ex race horse ... her back "ankle" area is swollen ... she isn't lame and it doesn't feel hot to my touch ... it is really wet and muddy here and i am trying to stray the mud off her feet at least a couple times a week ... the vet looked at her when i got her and didn't see anything .. anyone have any ideas? tricks? :)
Also she isn't holding weight ... she has gotten taller but isn't gaining at all .. any ideas?!?!?!

TBs are generally very hard keepers and don't hold weight like they should until they are older. Because of they background, they need lots of feed and warmth.

have you been riding alot or no because if you are riding her alot after a long time of sitting it can cause swelling and also if they sit without being ridden for a while that can cause swelling.too.
