Strange looking frog....

OK. No pics. I was stupid enough to put Koppertox on before thinking about taking any. :D So now it's all nice green color and won't give any justice.

I was out of town for several days, so when I came back yesterday and cleaned Jemma's hoofs the frog on front looked somewhat strange. Basically it's not like a gray rubber (when you use farrier knife), but like white little pieces. Like bread crumbles I'd say. I looked for definition for thrush, but it doesn't look like one (although I did put Koppertox anyway). Any ideas on what it could be?

Yeah, that's what I plan to do. I may use iodine. It smells too, pretty nasty, I might add. I just wonder where she got it!

If it smells it is very likely thrush .. its an infection I believe. but it is caused by moist enviornments expecially ones that arent clean like standing in a dirty stall. but they can get thrush from just being in a very wet enviornment also but some bacteria has to be present for it to begin I would think. Its a very common issue and as long as it is treated and doesnt become severe its usually not a problem at all.
