I love goats and miniature donkeys. I was trying to convince my mom the Jesse needed a friend but he wasn't being helpful... The big chicken.

In my opinion:

Overall he looks pretty nice. His neck is long, but lacks some substance for its length. It may be the way he is standing, but he looks like he has a pudgy belly. I can't tell much about his legs from the pictures, but he does need to be trimmed soon. Especially his front feet.

For the positives, his markings and eye color give him a striking apperance. His head has an intelligent look to it, and if you can get some tone to his muscle, he will make an impressive horse.

Overall, I like him!

P.S. sorry for the choppy-ness of my writing

Vegas was scared of the goats at as well. Took him a good while to get used to them.
My first goat I actually bought for a mini I had that couldnt be with the other horses due to injury. Then I just couldnt get enough of them!

These are old pictures, and when I got him he did have extremely pancacked fronts. He is foundered because of this. But while I have had him he has had reqular trimmings and his feet are back to normal.

Thanks for your other comments, I appreciate it.
He is not perfect, and I know that.
Afterall, he was simply an auction rescue, but I still love him much. <3

Poor horse! He may not be the best looking horse out there, but he didn't need to be abused/neglected then left to whoever would take him at an auction. I am so glad you bought him and that you are taking good care of him now. Vegas is a lucky guy.

When I got him he was extremely boney with no fat or muscle. He is back to being 100% however, as you said he is fat. lol He usually thins out in the summer because we are so active and we attend many shows.

He does catch a lot of attention at the shows because of his eyes and markings. When showing he gets a lot of people, probably can thank me for that one of choosing his color of blaze orange. lol

But he has gotten me to state many times for Barrels, and thats already overduing what I ask of him.
He truly is a good horse. Just his way of saying thank you I guess. =D

I loooooove Medicine Hats!

I think he is a good looking horse. He has a nice shaped head and neck, he has a nice level back with his withers and hips at equal height. I bet he looks awesome now with the winter fuzzies gone!
