Top Feeds ? Hello everybody, I'm looking for new feeds for my horse, and while browsing Alltech's site about Life Force Formula, I saw this: "With 24 of the top 25 feed companies in the world now using our products, we set the standards in natural nutritional solutions for the feed industry." Our Brands Reading this, I started wondering which feed companies they were speaking about... I am very much tempted to ask them but I think they'll proabably tell me that it's confidential. I thought that they were speaking of "Top" quantity wise but I couldn't find any ranking in size of feed manufacturers. Any ideas ? |
I suggest Omolene. It is nutritious and it makes the horse's coat shiny. |
we feed Omolene 100, they have a feed for about every type of horse..works well for us... |
mmh...thanks, I didn't know Omolene. They've got quite a nice website. I expected brands like Cavalor, KER(but i'm not sure they make feeds), Sanders...but then, Omolene is apparently part of Purina, so I guess it is a big feed manufacturer. |
Hello perfecto! Glad to see you are looking into providing your horse with some excellent, quality feeds. There are many well-known horse feeds available today on the market and oftentimes knowing which kind to go with can be quite the challenge. I would recommend going with a feed that will provide you with the best nutrition to meet your horse's needs (and trust me, each horse is quite different). In addition, look into feed companies that will provide you with nutritional information to assist you in making that decision. Alltech is a great supplier of many of the important components of today's top horse feeds. Thus, Alltech typically will only associate themselves with superior horse feeds designed to provide optimum nutrition and digestibility. Horse feeds such as Triple Crown®, Southern States Legends®, and EquiDae® just to name a few. |
Do your research on recalls and livestock feed violations Purina won't even make your list then Look inot companies like Triple Crown, southern States, Buckeye, Progressive and my favorite is Kent but they are a smaller midwestern company |
