Who has a recipe for a healthy horse treat?
These are Jerry's absolute favorites, and yes, they are fairly healthy, with all natural ingredients:
1 cup uncooked oatmeal
1 cup flour
1 cup shredded carrots
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons of oil
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup molasses
Mix ingredients in the order that they are listed. Roll into balls. Put on cookie tray sprayed lightly with PAM. Bake at 350*F for 15 minutes or until soft but cooked all the way through. These are a soft cookie and will not be crispy or crunchy.
