She is a twelve year AQHA. Has been riden by beginners and children. I am going to check her out next thursday. If I like her and find her a good match for me I will be getting the vet check. Any thoughts on her?

I think she meant, what do you plan on doing with her? Trails, competition, etc?

I quite like her - Though her left front foot looks very off in this photo - Clubbed maybe? Can't tell. Apart from that i like her - nice solid girl and looks like she would be really handy and kind.

It might be clubbed but it does look like they have her in some pretty deep shale there. She certainly is cute. Is the belly from being a broodmare? I like her alot...very pretty face...good confo...She has that 'sweetness' in her eye that makes me think they arent lying about her being a good beginners horse. Good luck! I hope she works out!

She looks good. I will say that I have learned that "ridden by beginners and children" may mean that no demands have ever really been made of her. They can be a bit spoiled. Most times they do not make a horse do anything it doesn't want to. So, when you go try her, I would intentionally be a bit demanding. For example-ask for transitions and expect them now-not when she gets around to it. I sometimes try to get them a little annoyed to see how they react. Then, just make sure the reaction/attitude is one you can handle. (ie no rearing, bucking, etc.) Flail around in the saddle and look like a fool, but you want to see how she handles you off balance.
Good luck-she looks like she could use to get some excercise! She is not ribby for sure! :-)
