I know there are tons of types of curry combs...... plastic, rubber, metal and tons of different styles.....hose attachments, handles, thumb dents
Just wondering what kinds of curries you guys prefer. Feel free to post pictures!
I just use this.
But I think these are the nicest.
I prefer these
But I'll still use a rubber one
I also have one of these
I just like the plain rubber curries. They are simple and very effective.
just a plain old rubber curry for me :)
I'll use whatever I can get my hands on. I have a "gelly" one and the plastic regular type.
I would really like a metal though, I get the feeling
it would be more effective...
Just a plain rubber curry. I prefer the ones with the hand strap on the back as opposed to a handle. I have a big one of firmer rubber and a smaller one of softer rubber.
I use a rubber or gel one :D
which curry comb to use
Rubber curry combs are great, they don't have to be expensive.
However, make a point to stay away from metal curries and plastic curries.
Metal is too harsh and can damage your horses skin. Scraped skin invites skin infection, fungus and rain rot etc.
A plastic curry comb can develop little cracks on the pins and have the same painful effect on your horses skin.
