field boots

i got my new boots in today and they are a little tall and tight..i have no experiance with these, they are my first pair so some of these ?s may come off as dumb..

do they get shorter when the ankels get more broken in?
do they get looser?
also, what is a good way to break them in?

thanksssss :-)

They might sag a little once the leather is broken in, but they won't get significantly shorter.

They'll loosen up some, assuming you got leather and not synthetic boots.

The only good way to break them in is to wear them.

Yes to both your questions. The best way to break them in is to ride in them

I am not the best for this but on the research I have done on the boots i got a couple days ago i know that the ankles generally lower 1/2 an inch and i believe that the leather should stretch also depending on the boot mine are zip-up and have a bit of elastic at the back the elastic might stretch some
