DAY 1 (long read)
Ok i have a 3yr old TB rescue. She has been in stalls most her life been turned out once in a while. But hasnt been in over a year. shes malnurished but very loved. her previous owners are super nice and loving they just couldnt afford feed and so i took her off there hands (she is still at the previous owners house but ive been buying the feed). No ground manners. So today we worked on walking on a lead rope, tieing, Lifting hooves. Im happy to say we have accomplished all three today .. well not completey. Mind you she is a TB so after leading her around her stll ..she almost ran me over when i opened the stall door but she has a big heart and trust me so she didnt step on me.. we did a few circles then headed to the trailer i tied her and she had her little fit of course after about 30 min she calmed down. I went over to her and scratched an made her feel good. Ok hooves cause she needs to see a farrier soon .. this was not very easy.. it took me about and hour to get her to lift her foot and keep it up then the other 3 .. so about 2 hours i got all her feet clean. YAY i dunno what your guys opinion is but i thought that today was a pretty productive day..!! Photo when i first seen her!
2 weeks after
4 weeks after

Next week i will be moving her to a wonderful boarding place where i can work with her everyday!! Wish me LUCK!!

I welcome critique and advice..

Glad today went well!
So you've found a nice barn? That's great. :) Good luck!

It's hard to give advice without seeing what and how you do things.
Maybe one time she'll try to rush through the gate, back her up and make her do it again. Keep repeating until she behaves.
Do you use the blue halter when you work with her? If so, switch to a rope halter. She will be much more responsive.

Started with the same as i did yesterday Tied and hoove cleaning. After, i put her in a little bit larger stall and i got a little ball and started rolling it around toward she was like cat to water.. It was a little smaller then a soccer ball and she acted as if it was a giant monster.. lol I let her smell it again and rubbed her with it and then stepped back and rolled it toward her again.. she didnt spring as high .. so about after the 7th time she didnt run to far.. Unfortunatley i had to leave but the Big scary Monster got a little smaller.. Sad that i couldnt finish to help her not to spook but i know its going to take a few!! Im proud of her though she has progressed faster then i exspected. thinkin of changing her name Sassy doesnt fit her anymore!
