Registered Quarter Horses
well im not sure if this is the right thread to post this in.. but ill put it here anyways.. ok so long story short.. my horse has a name that could possibly be registered(only reason i think this is because his name is long and not an usually name. yes i know just because my horse has an odd name doesnt mean it is registered but i still wish i could find out) i know nothing about his past except what has been told to me from the previous owner(which isnt much.lol) ... so i was wondering is there anyway to find out if a horse is registered that wouldnt cost me money??
Check with AQHA. They are very helpful just call.
well about two years ago i did that.. but since i was so young i didnt really get very far.. i talked to an AQHA rep? maybe haha.. like i said it was so long ago! but im still curious about my horse's pedigree and just basically to learn more about him
thank you for your help!
You could enter the name into the website All Breed Pedigree Query to see if a pedigree comes up. I believe the horses that come up will all be registered. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
If I remember correctly on all breed a horse is entered by another user, just because their registered doesn't mean they'll show up on the website.
Katie what's the name of the horse? I'll see if anything comes up on the AQHA website.
Yes- What's the name?
I'm an AQHA member, and I did similar inquiries with my guy online.
It's very easy.
If it don't show up on AQHA he might be a solid APHA...I could look that up for you :-) I'm a premium member so I can also see what they look like and past owners and such...It don't cost me anything extra like AQHA does.
